Last week I taught my second photo course for moms. It went wonderfully, just like the first class. I had a great group of three mom’s who came to my studio for a three hour course on how to better use their cameras and how to better capture their kiddos! During the first part of the class we went through a workbook that explained how to manually opporate their cameras and we practiced with the settings on their cameras. I also went over composition rules as well as my favorite tips and tricks for capturing my own family. Then we headed outside to practice what they had just learned. It really makes me feel so proud to be able to help these mom’s learn how to manually use their cameras! Two of them came to the class not knowing how to use anything outside of Auto mode and they both left with wonderful images that they captured MANUALLY! It’s so exciting for me to see the light bulb go off! Once again we had wonderful models to practice on. Below I will share some of the images I captured of our models!! I can’t wait to give their mama the full gallery of what I captured!
Meet Alex and Cole. They are six year old twins and they were wonderful models!
And here are a few behind the scene shots of my students practing on the boys!
I plan on teaching this course again in the future. If you think you’d like to take it send me an email or message on facebook and I’ll make sure to send you the info once the next course is announced.
