This year marks three years since I opened my studio. During this time, I’ve captured many sweet newborns, six month olds, one year olds and kiddos of every age in between. I’ve offered my clients stylized Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter mini sessions. I’ve worked on meaningful projects like my breastfeeding portrait project, and the premie project that I captured for the March Of Dimes. I’ve loved having my beautiful space in the Village of East Aurora, NY to create such meaningful photos.
As I reflected back on the past few years, I really began to put thought into the future, and the direction I’d like to go. A huge part of the reason I love being a photographer and business owner is because I truly get to wake up excited everyday about my job and the photographs that I create alongside my amazing clients! As many of you know, I’ve fallen deeply in love with photographing weddings, and I’ve focused a lot of my time on providing a wonderful experience for my Brides and Grooms. I also offer custom portrait sessions that take place on location. This is how I first started my journey as a professional photographer, by photographing many families, kiddos, high school seniors, and maternity session, all outside and on location!! I see myself always offering these types of sessions for my clients, because of how truly special they are to me (and I know the photos I’ve captured are special to YOU!!)
My heart also truly finds joy in photographing young children in my studio, especially the moments that are so special and fleeting during the very first year of their life. I’m realizing that over the past three years of having a studio, I’ve really found my vision for my studio sessions and I know what type of images I want to provide for my clients. My goal is that my newborn, sitter (6+ months) and cake smash (12 month) sessions will all seamlessly reflect this vision, so that when my clients are hanging the portraits from their little one’s first year of life on their wall, the photos will all flow together beautifully. Moving forward all of my studio sessions will reflect a natural, organic, whimsical, and timeless vibe. I will provide each client with a customized experience in which I guide you in choosing the outfit for your little one that will flow with the props and outfits that I provide in my studio. This is something I’ve helped my on-location portrait clients with for years, and I’m excited to now offer this stylized experience for all of my studio sessions.
No matter what type of session I’m capturing, my goal is always to create beautiful photographs of people in a timeless way. Whether you’re looking at the photos I’ve captured of your wedding, your brand new baby, or your growing family, I want you to be able to feel like I’ve truly captured WHO YOU ARE.
