I first met Christian and Kevin years ago, we were all being trained as Reki practitioners by a mutual friend. During that time together, I really fell in love with this sweet couple! They share so many of the values that are important to me, they are passionate about living a life of adventure. They are wildly in love with each other, and being around them is inspiring.

When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, a few years ago, I was SO excited. They’re literally my dream couple, and I knew their wedding was going to be amazing. I’d love to share with you their engagement session. You can view it featured on my website HERE. There session was super authentic to who they are. It was full of adventure – rock climbing (in heals!), surfing, and snuggling next to a fire on the beach. It was amazing.
Their wedding day was one that I will never forget. Christian surprised all of guest by arriving via SEA CRAFT (a boat that is also a plane!!). You guys, it was so cool!! I could go on and on about their wedding day, but I’ll let their photos tell the story. You can check them out HERE.
This is what Christian had to say about their experience with me on their wedding day. “Lindsey was able to capture every moment of our wedding day and it was so organic the way she moved around and captured the perfect moments!! My favorite photos are when she pulled us away from the crowd briefly after the ceremony and we went down to the beach and my husband and I were able to just be alone for a little while and take it all in and hold each other and just be so in the moment with each other and she captured such a special moment without us even knowing she was there.”
So that’s the backstory of how I have documented this awesome couple’s road trip to marriage, but the reason I am so passionate about my role as a wedding photographer, is because I am a huge fan of marriage! And I believe that marriage is worth celebrating everyday, not just on your wedding day.
I am beyond excited to share with you my most recent adventure session with this down to earth couple, along with the direction that I am very excited to be headed in my business. I’m all about living a life of adventure, and the people who connect with me best, feel the same way.
I asked Christian to share with me how marriage has been an adventure for her and Kevin. I absolutely loved her response, because I totally can relate with my own marriage. Here’s what she had to say! “Since the moment we met we have been on an adventure together. We are both outdoor enthusiasts so wether it be ice climbing in the Adirondacks, surfing in Costa Rica or Kitesurfing in Hawaii I always have my adventure partner and that’s my favorite thing about being married! We are best friends and spend so much time together and we never get sick of each other which surprises me! Our connection, love and commitment to each other grows everyday. After three years of marriage we are ready to start our family together and will be expecting our first child this October!”
