Nancy and Fred’s love story is one that movies are made from. They were engaged back in the 70s, but instead of getting married, they went separate ways. Each went on to have a family of their own, and decades later they rekindled their friendship after he wrote her a letter. It really was a full circle moment, and a day I will never forget.
They celebrated their marriage with an amazing cruise on the Grand Lady Cruises in Buffalo, N.Y. Fred and Nancy were surrounded by an amazing, loving, and supportive group of family and friends. An entire group of friends from college came to celebrate with them. It was inspiring to see how many lifelong friendships they each had.
If you know me, you know that I get tears in my eyes during at least one point of every wedding day that I document. And it’s never the same moment (even though I am totally a fan of the dance shared between the groom and his mom #boymom). On this specific day, I found my eyes filled with tears as I intently documented the amazing joy on the faces of each, and every guest as they danced the night away. You could tell that each moment will be forever treasured memories.
I am excited to share a preview of their wedding photos with you. Each photo documents so many joy-filled moments of people who truly are living in gratitude. This wedding totally fills me up with happiness!!
(This group photo is of all of their friends from college!!)
