I remember when Jason and I were in the very beginning stages of wedding planning. I had no idea where to start! I totally Googled everything, looking for lists of venue options until finally finding the perfect, unique venue for us (The Red House). I know how stressful wedding planning can be, so I put together a list of the top 25 Buffalo NY wedding venues to make your search simpler!
Buffalo, New York is a pretty awesome place to get married!!
From the beautiful, historic options within the the city; to the renovated waterfront; amazing arts district; endless locally owned restaurants and breweries; and the small town vibe of the South Towns; Buffalo has something for every couple!
Here are some of the amazing wedding venues in Buffalo, NY and the surrounding areas in Western New York that I love:
1) Knox Farm Estate
Knox Farm State Park is a beautiful property with over 600 acres of fields and amazing views. The Mansion at Knox is a gorgeous property that you can rent for your wedding day. You do have to bring in a wedding planner for this venue, but it’s great because you can make it whatever you want. It’s beautiful but also a blank canvas, so you can go in so many different directions. This is such a unique wedding venue and one of my faves! You can check out a fun Knox Farm Estate wedding that I shot here.
2) Orchard Park Country Club
The Orchard Park Country Club is a really cool wedding venue, and not your typical golf course! Not only is the property beautiful, but you have access to the greens right out the door. It’s so nice that all of your guests get to have cocktails and appetizers right there on the golf course.
3) The Statler
4) Hotel Henry
5) The Roycroft
6) Crag Burn Club
7) HayLoft in the Grove
This venue is gorgeous! The barn on site is over 150 years old, and they have almost 100 acres of fields and beautiful space for photos. Everything happens right there on the property! The owners are super hands on and really committed to their couples having their best day ever. The grounds are also constantly improving – it just keeps getting better and better! There are 2 different houses that you can get ready at right on the property (bridal and groom suites), and they have both indoor and outdoor options for ceremonies, and multiple locations. The open barn is an awesome outdoor option during nice weather for cocktail hour. This wedding at HayLoft in the Grove was so much fun!

If you’re planning your dream wedding – these are the weddings that happen here!!

This church-turned-venue is so gorgeous and has such a cool story behind it! It was built in the 1870s and was a functioning church until the 1980s. It started to get run down and was set to be torn down in 1995, but Ani DiFranco bought it and converted it into a music and wedding venue.
