Amazing Photo Locations in WNY

I’ve been a portrait photographer in Western New York for over ten years now. I’ve photographed everything from engaged couples, to newborn babies, families, high school seniors, and literally hundreds of kiddos have been in front of my camera over the years! As we quickly approach Spring (!!!) I wanted to share some favorite spots that I use for photo sessions!!

Chestnut Ridge – Orchard Park, NY

If you’re looking for a beautiful wooded backdrop for your portraits, Chestnut Ridge is top on my list!! This location is beautiful in every season here in Western New York and I have so many favorite spots in this park!

Knox Farms – East Aurora, NY

Knox Farm is located in East Aurora and it’s truly such a magical place! I love when my clients choose Knox for their photos. From the endless fields, red barns, walls covered with ivy, and unique buildings make for a wide variety of backdrops for your photos.

Lake Erie Beach

We have so many beautiful beaches showcasing Lake Erie!! I’m all for toes in the sand and sunsets at the beach on warm summer nights!! Lake Erie is a perfect spot for beach photos!

City of Buffalo

I LOVE Buffalo!! It’s truly an amazing city and the possibilities for photo session locations in the city are unlimited! Below you’ll see examples of the murals off of Hertel Ave, the lift bridge on Ohio Street, and the front of City Hall. But there are SO many awesome spots throughout the city that give your photos a different vibe than you’d get at a park.

Delaware Park – Buffalo, NY

Delaware Park gives you nature with a park full of big trees and trail,s with the beauty of Hoyt Lake, and of course the Albright Knox Art Gallery and History Museum are super close by.

Waterfront – Buffalo, NY

And lastly, the waterfront has come so far over the past few years!! It is such a great location for sunset photos that feature Lake Erie in a really unique way.
