The past few years I have started a new tradition for myself. Every January as I begin a new year, I pick a word, a word that I would focus on throughout the year. My word for 2013 was JOY. Throughout the year I focused on finding joy. Creating it, capturing it and appreciating it. As 2014 arrived I put a lot of thought into what my word for this year would be. I chose the word EXPLORE. This year I will explore as much I can. I plan on traveling often, and I also really want to explore my creativity and imagination. I am always trying to grow as a person and I hope that this year will be full of exploration, not only of physical ‘things’ but also emotional, spiritual and inspirational discoveries.
In light of this goal to explore in 2014, I have decided to take a journey this spring. Jason and I will be taking a road trip. We aren’t sure where we will be going yet, but that is part of the fun. I want to SEE and EXPLORE. I don’t have a specific spot where I’d like to end up on this trip. We are both up for an adventure. I’m also going to bring my camera along! I can’t think of a better way to spend some down time on our road trip than by having photo sessions booked along the way! One of my favorite parts of being an on-location photographer is when I get to explore new areas and capture beautiful, timeless images right there on the spot!
I want to come explore in your favorite area, in your town, in your state!
