Lindsay and Nick had a fun session in the village of East Aurora! It was Nick’s first time in East Aurora and Lindsay was excited to show him around! The energy between these two was radiant. I hope I was able to capture that!
I asked Lindsay and Nick to tell me some fun facts about themselves, I will share them with you throughout this post! Enjoy!!
“Nick was on his way to Mexico and spontaneously decided to buy Lindsay a plane ticket to meet him down there. We were watching the sunset looking out at the Sea of Cortez when we officially decided we really had a good thing going and we should probably stick with it! Love at first sight might exist for some but Lindsay’s first impression of Nick was not the good kind. Nick didn’t give up and he ultimately swept her off her feet. (and still does) After dating for about a year we sold all of our (excess) stuff, packed up, drove across country and then moved to Beijing to pursue our careers and start our post college lives!”
“We are both working artists and art educators: Lindsay teaches Visual Art at an International High School and Nick teaches Ceramic Design for Industry at a University. Lindsay is an exceptionally longwinded storyteller and Nick is never surprised when she loses track of what she is talking about. Nick is highly critical and Lindsay is always surprised whenever he just says, “I like it.” Lindsay loves to cook and bake, Nick hardly ever does, but alas, Lindsay saves him from hunger pains with her wonderful cooking. Nick has received excellent marks on time management and planning skills throughout his life, while Lindsay still confuses arrival time with departure time and thinks spontaneity should be applied hourly. “Neither Nick nor Lindsay owns a crystal ball or has been trained to look into the future, but both are very excited about their next chapter in life together, and consider themselves exceptionally lucky to have found one another.”“

She had a few wonderful spots staked out and took advantage of other locations found along the way.
