I like to think of the photos I capture of my own family during the hustle and bustle of our everyday life, as a gift to my future self. I know that when I look back on these photographs, I won’t notice if my house wasn’t totally clean, or the extra baby weight that I’m currently carrying. What I will see, and cherish will be the true life moments during this time in my family’s life.
I will look back and be so grateful to have captured my sweet baby’s flaky skin and his sweet little toes. Or how my 8 year old son was obsessed with legos and the concentrated look on his face as he used his imagination to build his newest project. I’ll cherish the photos of our dogs and remember how they would pile on the same dog bed, even though they each had their own.
It’s these real life moments that might seem routine to me now, but I know they are fleeting and some day, not to far in the future, our life will look different. And I’ll be so incredibly thankful for the photographs that persevered these memories for me and my family.
When I announced that I was offering in-home, photojournalistic family photo sessions at a special rate for the months of March and April, one of my favorite clients quickly booked a session for her sweet family! It is always such a pleasure to photograph this sweet family and to capture such beautiful moments in their life!
I still have a few spots available for my Real Life. Your Life. sessions!! Details here!!
