Kallie and Zac’s wedding was everything you hope for when photographing in downtown Buffalo — joyful, heartfelt, and full of the energy that makes this city so special. Their celebration perfectly blended modern elegance with iconic Buffalo landmarks, from their ceremony at Seneca One Tower to their stunning reception at The Admiral Room.
Working alongside Emily Whaley of Lovely Lemon Events and the talented videography team at ML Studios, the day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. But what truly stood out was the atmosphere — pure celebration. Every guest was genuinely happy to be there, the dance floor stayed packed all night, and Kallie and Zac’s connection was so genuine and easy to capture.
The Admiral Room is one of my favorite Buffalo wedding venues for so many reasons. The space is grand yet timeless — high ceilings, marble floors, and architectural details that photograph beautifully in both color and black and white. Whether couples envision a classic, elegant celebration or something more modern and chic, The Admiral Room provides the perfect backdrop.
From the moment the light pours in through the tall windows during cocktail hour to the way the room transforms once the music starts, it’s a venue that feels both luxurious and inviting. Every time I photograph a wedding there, I leave inspired by how couples make it their own.
Kallie and Zac began their day with a ceremony at Seneca One Tower, surrounded by the city skyline. It was such a unique way to start the celebration — modern, bright, and filled with anticipation. From there, guests made their way to The Admiral Room, where the celebration truly began.
The combination of these two downtown Buffalo landmarks created a perfect flow for the day — modern architecture meets historic elegance — showcasing everything I love about photographing in this city.
This wedding was pure joy from beginning to end. Kallie and Zac are one of those couples who light up every room they walk into, and it was so clear how loved they are by everyone around them. Their friends and families brought so much energy, laughter, and emotion — it made every candid moment even more meaningful to photograph.
Some of my favorite moments included their emotional cereomony overlooking the city of Buffalo, the laughter during portraits with their wedding party, and the incredible dance floor energy once DJ Jickster got the party going.
This celebration came together flawlessly thanks to an incredible group of vendors:
